Alright, how we met. First we gotta set the stage. I was at YSA volleyball and was just having a blast. Playing a little bit, talking to friends and just having a good time. Then I saw her, the prettiest girl I’ve ever seen… Holy… And the first thing I thought was I have no chance with her. Half the guys were hitting on her and she was on the other side, my confidence was crushed. But as the night went on nothing changed. My confidence was on vacation at the Eastern Islands. But then as you will see in her side of the story, one of the guys invited all of us to go to In-n-Out for some food. I don’t think I’ve ever said yes faster in my life once I found out that Anna was going too. And thats where the magic happened. After thinking I didn’t have a chance to impress this girl I decided this was the opportunity to just be myself. And it worked like a charm. She was so enamored by my natural self it was basically love at third or fourth glance. Little did she know I really wanted to see if she was interested in me cause there was no way she liked me (Thats the theme of the night). So as the night went on a bunch of jokes were being made and everyone was having a good time, but the entire night I was checking to see if she looked at me while laughing (cause supposedly that means they like you). For the first half of the night I had no luck, but then it happened!! She and I made eye contact while laughing and my heart exploded!! There was no way that she liked me, but it kept happening after that, we kept making eye contact and making jokes towards or about each other. Then the conversation became more and more one on one as the night went and one thing led to another, we got each others numbers and I couldn’t believe it. And I mean, I was on cloud nine, I couldn’t believe this girl (who mind you, was drop dead gorgeous) actually had my number in her phone. The rest is history after that, she was completely love struck with me and it was smooth sailing after that. 😁 Just kidding, I asked her out soon after.. THEEEN the rest is history.

Joseph's Point of View on the night we met

We met at a YSA activity playing volleyball one random Thursday in May. And the first thing I notice was, "this has to be the biggest church gym I've ever seen" and "woah... who is.. that 😏 " Little did I know that thanks to that random Thursday in May, I would be marrying the most amazing guy I've ever met.So as we were.. After I had been eyeballing this handsome piece of eye candy from across the court for the entire night , by some wild chance a group of people were going to In n Out ... so after giving my lovely sister the biggest puppy dog eyes I've ever... puppied..(?) We put in the directions to In n Out and were off!We all ended up getting some food and talking .. Don't ask me what was said that night okay.. I have no idea, all I knew at the time was this guy has got a cute dimple and somehow everything he says is the funniest thing I've ever heard.Somehow the conversation was beginning to die down and cars got brought up... and at that time my sister and I had been going to this car meet that was a weekly thing... so.. after seeing/hearing that he was interested in carsI said: "WEEEELLLL... there is this car meet ever Wednesday.. we could go-*COUGH* We could.. all.. go to .. if you..ya'll wanted to.. " MY HEART WAS GOING CRAZY! I was so nervous oh my goodness .. BUT THEN!!He said : "Oh yeah?? Where is it at? Do you have the address?" (I think he said that.. I DONT KNOW OKAY?? MY HANDS WERE SWEATY... it was something along those lines...)so in return I said : "Yeah, I have a photo of the time and location.. I could send it to you if you want"AND BOOOOOOOOOM!!! Thats when history was made! He put his phone number into my phone and I put his contact into my phone with all my might.And now we are getting married! :DAlso the two photos you see above were pictures we took of each other that night for... "Contact Photos" ..... I just thought he was cute and wanted to have a photo I could stare at later :)

The dress code for this wedding is wear your favorites! It doesn't matter the style, or color of the clothing!! Try to out do the bride! Be colorful and creative if you want, or you can also wear your all time favorite Dress or Tie! That being said, this is a Christ centered wedding so all we ask is you dress modestly, Thank you!

For the women, please wear your favorite or even fanciest dress you have or want to wear! It can even be white, all colors and styles are okay~ try to even out do the bride!

And for the men, wear your favorite tie (even if its a Christmas tie!) Slightly formal wear with a white shirt and dress pants are totally good! We would also love to see and hear why the tie you chose is your favorite~
